Project Information

The Fem2forests project will explore opportunities to promote forestry to encourage more young people to choose a career in this sector.

The project will specifically focus on girls and young women as future professionals in forestry. The goal of the Fem2Forest project is to develop innovative career paths for girls and young women, strengthen the capacities of forestry educational institutions by integrating a gender perspective, and facilitate framework conditions for the effective inclusion of women at various levels and stages in forestry organizations and relevant labor markets.

By implementing the planned activities, the partners aim to contribute to increasing the proportion of women in the forestry sector, including in leadership positions, by 2030.
