Project Information
The aim of the project is to strengthen capacities to promote young people’s mental health in formal and non-formal educational settings at three different levels. At the practice level, MEET will jointly develop and pilot inclusive, innovative, youth-centred tools and learning materials for educators, social workers, professionals and young people who are themselves at risk.
At the level of organisations and intermediaries, it will bring together key actors in the fields of health and education in Youth Mental Health Labs, with the aim of creating new cross-sectoral mental health coalitions, strengthen their mental health knowledge and equip them with a methodology for future cooperation. At the policy level, the project will develop a transnational strategy and local action plans for integrating mental health into education, while proposing guidelines to policy makers at all levels on how to make education policy more inclusive.
