Project Information
The VšečKAM and GREM+ Youth Career Center provides comprehensive, high-quality, innovative, and accessible career guidance services for school-age youth (ages 6–19) and early school leavers (ages 15–29) in the Eastern Slovenia Cohesion Region (KRVS).
Our Goals by 2029:
- Establishment and operation of seven (7) units of the Youth Career Center VšečKAM and GREM+ in the Cohesion Region, which will serve as regional hubs for the delivery of career guidance services, at the following locations and statistical regions:
- YCC unit Maribor at the applicant Foundation PRIZMA (Podravska region),
- YCC unit Velenje at the partner Association NOVUS (Savinjska and Zasavska regions),
- YCC unit Lendava at the partner People's University Lendava (Pomurska region),
- YCC unit Ravne na Koroškem at the partner People's University Ravne na Koroškem (Koroška region),
- YCC unit Kočevje at the partner Business Incubator Kočevje (Jugovzhodna region),
- YCC unit Krško at the partner Regional Development Agency Posavje (Posavska region),
- YCC unit Postojna at the partner Institute Znanje Postojna (Primorsko-notranjska region).
- Establishment and operation of seven (7) units of the Youth Career Center VšečKAM and GREM+ in the Cohesion Region, which will serve as regional hubs for the delivery of career guidance services, at the following locations and statistical regions:
- Improving accessibility of career guidance services for students, early school leavers, parents, and school counselors, with emphasis on including vulnerable groups.
- Strengthening the competencies of students and early school leavers for career planning and decision-making regarding education and career paths by providing comprehensive and developing new innovative, target-group-tailored approaches and career guidance services, including the use of digital tools, interactive methods, and entrepreneurial content.
- Improving the responsiveness of young people and early school leavers to labor market needs by providing innovative approaches to learning about shortage occupations and future professions in collaboration with employers in the local environment, connecting with SRIPs, and with the support of labor market platform information.
- Empowering parents to actively support their children in exploring and planning their careers, by improving their understanding of the labor market and educational opportunities.
- Strengthening the competencies of school counselors for implementing modern career guidance approaches, including the use of innovative career guidance methods and tools that enable long-term scientifically supported talent testing and support for young people in making career path decisions, as well as strengthening knowledge of the labor market.
- Strengthening cooperation among key labor market stakeholders (employers & their associations, Employment Service of Slovenia, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Education Institute, schools, PUM-O+ providers, etc.) and career guidance providers by establishing ongoing collaboration, consultation, mutual learning, and seeking synergies between measures and competencies of various stakeholders.
Who Are the YCC VšečKAM and GREM+ Activities Intended For?
- Students (children and adolescents in the age group from 6 to 19 years).
- Early school leavers (young people in the age group from 15 to 29 years who are not employed, not in education, or training).
Activities will also be conducted for:
- Parents
- School counselors
- Educational institutions
- Employers and their associations
- Labor market institutions and other important stakeholders (Employment Service of Slovenia and trade unions)

The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the EU from the European Social Fund Plus (hereinafter: ESF+). The project is implemented within the framework of the Partnership Agreement for the Cohesion Policy 2021–2027, policy objective 4 "A more social and inclusive Europe implementing the European Pillar of Social Rights," priority 6 "Knowledge and skills and a responsive labor market," specific objective ESO4.5 "Improving the quality, inclusiveness, effectiveness, and labor market relevance of education and training systems, including through validation of non-formal and informal learning, to support the acquisition of key competences, including entrepreneurial and digital skills, and by promoting the introduction of dual training systems and apprenticeships."
